Time Machine: What I Should Have Said......

TQC: New Moon Charity Quilt?

S: Awesome! I've got an idea for a center/focus block.

TQC: Looks like Shannon's going to assemble....

May be: I don't really think I should. I've never successfully worked on a group project when I've been in charge. I know I'll just want to remake some blocks and I'll miss the deadline. These things are the least of my worries.

Best:

S: You guys go for it. I'm going to sit this one out. I'll support you gals, though.

TCQ: Quilt Layout?

I: Do you need any help? I'll take it home and work on it?

S: Sure..... Uh,...... it looks..... okay. Ugh...this IS what we're going to do.

Maybe: No, that's okay. I've got this one.

Best: I think you should design the layout. You're much better at this kind of thing. You could work from my idea, though. I hope it works out, but I won't be upset if it doesn't. Go for it!

TCQ: Did you mess with the Presents Block?

S: Yes. Whay are you going to do about it?

May be: Yes. I screwed up the dimensions of the layout when I drafted it in EQ5 and I want my Walk in the Woods block to be 8x6.

Best: Yes. I'm not any good at this. Elizabeth or Iris, could you take over before I really mess things up?

TCQ: Hmmm..... those blocks need some work. Do you want to send them to me and I'll assemble them?

S: No....I've got it.

May be: J, I'm having trouble with your blocks. What did you want me to do with them? Do you mind if I send them to Elizabeth or what would you suggest?

Elizabeth, I'm really screwing this up. Can you take over?

Best: We'll make it work.

TQC: We need your apology.

S: #%$*

Best: I'm SO sorry. Can we even still use the quilt?

I can't go back in time. The above is just SOME of the examples of how bad I messed up. I can't pick a situation during the whole process that I didn't do or say the wrong thing.
